The M Method 

Introducing an innovative approach aimed at empowering young girls and women by integrating coaching and therapeutic techniques for a holistic service. We focus on cultural sensitivity and community building to redefine mental health support in a meaningful way.

Our offerings include:
● Mindset Coaching using Neuro-linguistic programming (NLP).
● Positive psychological coaching.

● Evidence-based therapy skills such as coping strategies, communication, and problem-solving.

● Personal insights from Marissa, who has navigated limiting beliefs like confidence issues, fear of failure, comparisons, imposter syndrome, high-functioning anxiety, and trauma.


Whilst mindset coaching emphasises perspective shifts and developing a growth mindset, therapy delves deeper into psychological challenges that may hinder change. By combining both, we offer a well-rounded approach to personal development that tackles both surface and core issues.

In summary, therapy plays a vital role in personal growth, providing support, insights, and strategies for healthier, more fulfilling lives. Whether utilised alone or in conjunction with mindset coaching, therapy can lead to transformative experiences that foster lasting change.

‘The M Method’ effectively meets our clients' needs and goals holistically, allowing for flexible ratios of therapy to coaching based on individual requirements, with both client and practitioner collaborating on the approach.  Integrating the two provides an authentic and ethical way to work at emotional depth and be able to sit with the process when needed but also inject forward momentum and open the horizons for the future when it is appropriate. Our mental health isn’t separate from our personal lives. Knowing when to use the right approaches is vital. In simple terms working this way ensures that clients feel safe and supported whatever issues they bring into a session, nothing is off the table.

This isn’t just about individuals, it’s about the environments we work in, the society and world we live in. Constantly navigating through changing and challenging circumstances. According to a Yale study in 2021 “our society is experiencing more stress than ever before leading to both negative psychiatric and physical outcomes. By establishing a collaborative relationship, assessing readiness, and monitoring progress, the integration of coaching and therapy can provide a holistic approach to supporting clients in their personal growth and well-being.
